Havana – Matanzas

Cuba is recognized across the globe for its rich musical legacy and continued contributions that span genres from jazz and funk to salsa and hip hop. Join us for an unparalleled musical odyssey that includes the renowned Havana Jazz Festival celebrating its 31st year and the inaugural edition of the Ashe Music Festival featuring funk influences from throughout the Americas. Additionally, TOCA Trips opens the doors to intimate encounters with some of the Island’s most accomplished artists.

TOCA Trip’s private guides will also share highlights of Havana’s eclectic architectural and historic landscape, while also offering insights into Cuba’s visual, performing and culinary arts scenes. We explore contemporary art at spaces including Avistamientos Gallery and Fototeca de Cuba, and enjoy modern dance inside the sublime beauty of a Spanish-Creole villa. Culinary encounters include hands-on cooking alongside some of Havana’s most innovative chefs as well as elegant cigar and rum pairings while basking in our rooftop view overlooking the city.

Celebrate the vibrant spectrum of Afro-Cuban traditions through its music, dance and cuisine as we journey to Matanzas. We welcome guests into an intimate black-box theater where they become part of a live rehearsal and join in chanting, dancing and playing percussion along with professional artists. A live performance by Santeria musicians and dancers is followed by an exquisite traditional lunch comprised of African-inspired favorites. And returning to Havana, guests bask in the timeless sounds of jazz artists and vocalists within one of our intimate paladares where they enjoy an elegant meal of French-Cuban fusion cuisine.
